As a global producer of iron ore, Rio Tinto wanted to share the natural beauty of their product. This gift box was created to contain a slice of core drilled polished iron ore and distributed globally. The removable belly band is digitally printed Colorplan with the box & lid made from 2000 um black fibre board and metal edged in joining the corners to form the box. The lid is embellished with a blind deboss while the internal cavity is made from felt.
